Privacy policy

Controller

FinanceHub (finance-hub.redswiss.ch) is operated by Anthony Thomas, a private individual resident in Switzerland. For any question about your personal data: info@anthony-thomas.ch.

Data we process

  • Account: name, email address, password (stored only as a hash, never in plain text), two-factor authentication settings and date of last activity.
  • Sign-ins: IP address and browser of your sessions and recognised devices, so we can warn you about unusual sign-ins.
  • Wealth profile: amounts of your assets and debts (real estate, pension, cash, securities, mortgages), annual savings, return assumptions and time horizon.
  • Imported bank accounts: IBAN, currency, balances and transactions (date, amount, description, reference, category).
  • Insurance: type, insurer, policy number, premiums, deductible, cover, dates and notice period.
  • Real estate, passive income and securities: properties (address, canton, value, mortgage, rents), income sources and portfolio positions.
  • Search for occupational pension (LPP) assets: first name, last name, date of birth, AHV number, years worked, employers, average salary and notes about your request.
  • Companies: for company accounts, the company name, members and invitations.
  • Subscription: for paid plans, payment data is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Statistics: cookieless audience measurement with a tool hosted on our own servers (Umami). Page addresses are recorded without parameters, tokens or identifiers.

FinanceHub processes financial data. We only collect what you choose to enter or import:

Calculators

The calculators (salary, health insurance, mortgage, pillar 3a, LPP buy-in, retirement, family, quasi-resident) run directly in your browser: the values you enter are not stored on our servers.

Purposes

  • Providing the service: a consolidated view of your wealth, analyses, simulations and tracking of your contracts.
  • Handling your requests to search for LPP assets.
  • Allowing the brokers assigned to you to view your situation.
  • Securing accounts: two-factor authentication, sign-in alerts, abuse prevention.
  • Managing subscriptions and payments.
  • Sending service emails: address confirmation, sign-in alerts, invitations, password resets.
  • Improving the website with aggregated statistics.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who can see your data

  • Our team (administrators and advisors) can access it to handle your requests, in particular LPP searches, and to provide support.
  • If a broker is assigned to you, by us or by your company, they can view your data read-only. Every view is logged (broker, date and time). You can ask at any time for this access to end.
  • LPP search data is only passed to a third party, such as the Central Office 2nd Pillar or a pension fund, with your consent and only as far as your search requires.

Legal bases

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your data to perform our contract with you, with your consent (for example to pass on an LPP search), on the basis of our legitimate interest (security, cookieless statistics) or to meet our legal obligations.

Hosting and service providers

  • Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): hosting of servers and databases. Your financial data is stored in Switzerland.
  • Resend (United States): sending emails. Resend stores email content and delivery logs in the United States; this transfer is covered by standard contractual clauses adapted to Swiss law.
  • Stripe (Ireland and United States): subscription payments. Stripe is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank; no personal data is sent to it. These providers only process your data to deliver their services to us.

Retention

  • Account and financial data: kept while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of your request.
  • LPP search: kept as long as your account exists; you can ask for it to be deleted once the search is over.
  • Log of broker views: kept as long as your account exists.

Some data may be kept longer where the law requires it, for example the payment records of your subscription.

Cookies

We only use cookies that the website needs to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie that remembers your theme preference (light or dark). We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, two-factor authentication is available, access is limited by role and every view by a broker is logged. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it or receive a copy in a common format, object to certain processing and withdraw your consent. Write to us at info@anthony-thomas.ch; we reply within 30 days.

You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch) or, if you live in the European Union, the data protection authority of your country.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page; for significant changes we will inform you by email or on the website.
